Ajvar is a tasty and aromatic vegetable relish made of peppers, eggplant and spices. Thanks to its hot yet mellow flavor, it is the perfect accompaniment to just about anything, including grilled meats. It can also be used as a side dish with cheese, roast meat, sausage or barbecue, cold dishes, sandwiches, on bread, and as an additional ingredient in the preparation of stews and sauces.
