A great source of energy, barley rusks (paximadia) are an ideal part of a healthy Mediterranean or Cretan diet, which is rich in fiber and low in fat. These toasts are crunchy, tasty and nutritious. Enjoy them with any kind of food. They can be soaked in water to soften them, and then eaten as a substitute for bread at a meal. Cholesterol-free, no preservatives.
Ingredients: 70% barley, wheat flour, yeast, salt.
